Jessica Abughattas
Winner of the 2020 Etel Adnan Poetry Prize, Abughattas' first full-length book Strip is forthcoming from University of Arkansas Press in the fall. Selected by Fady Joudah and Hayan Charara, “Strip is a captivating debut about desire and dispossession, and that tireless poetic metaphor, the body," the series editors said.

Mathieu Cailler
Cross-genre writer Mathieu Cailler's newest release is his first full-length novel and is forthcoming from Open Books this September. Heaven and Other Zip Codes is a contemporary novel that reviewer Niles Reddick says is "a finely conceived and carefully crafted novel [that] we'll see on the big screen." The book deals with marriage and its complexities told from the perspective of a narrator Reddick considers "an older and more soulful Holden Caufield."

Sevilla Writers House coordinates customized tours for the launch of your book. Book tours commonly include speaking engagements at universities, literary conferences, book fairs, book clubs, bookstores, reading series, podcasts, and short-term teaching opportunities. Tour length, locations, and other logistical decisions are based on the goals and availability of the author. Sevilla Writers House provides additional services including social media consultations and planning, official photo shoot coordination, and author website design upon request and for an additional fee.
We are currently reading for 2021 and 2022 tours. At this time, we are representing writers based in Los Angeles or the surrounding area. Sevilla Writers House is especially interested in literary fiction and nonfiction and full-length poetry collections. On rare occasions, we will coordinate the tour of self-published authors; however, we do prioritize works forthcoming on small and medium-sized presses.
